Ebay Free Listing Day... bye bye Sunday shopping!

Is anyone else taking advantage of the eBay Free Listing Day today?

It's not my ideal plans for a Sunday but it has to be done. I haven't done any for quite some time due to Xmas / New Year then a manic work scedule and my "sell on eBay" pile had grown and has now taken over 2 suitcases!! Ek!!

I really should stop buying clothing before I try it on or buying things in a size smaller in a hope to get in them... and when they are in the sales I always think why not.. Bargain!! Not the best way to shop but at that time it seems just right.

I'm half way though listing a lot that I took pictures of last night... The odd one or two things i'm really gutted to sell but know i'll never wear :(

Do you ever find when your listing items that you try them one last time... just to doule check that they don't suit you.. or if fit you yet? *Deep breath in* hehe!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend... Roll on Summer weekends :D

January's Top 3 Purchases!!!

As i'm a girl thats continuously shopping and always has an eye for a bargain I tend to buy alot of things! All of which i'd love to show you but I'd have to be blogging every day if I was going to... terrible I know hehe.

So thought i'd share my Top 3 purchases of the month... I realise it's a little late for January's but as i've only just thought to do this and got some of the most wonderful things in January I couldn't not share them!

Alexander Henry Skull Dress - Oxfam Charity Shop - £6.99
I was totally chuffed when I saw this dress as i'd been after one for a while yet they are around £60/70 to buy normal. I also like that it's by a brand i've never heard of so therefore I won't see anyone else wearing this cut of it :)

'Damask' Style Dress - Oxfam Charity Shop - £4.99

This gorgeous dress is actually by Tesco and is still tagged! - £25. Im not usually a fan of all over prints yet thought this was very WOW. I think it looks quite Couture or Boutique'y!

Green Denim Skirt - Charity Shop - £2.49
Yes Green... somewhat shocking as not a colour I wear lots of but I love this skirt as it makes me think of summer (which is hopefully just round the corner, figers crossed!!). Also as it's so simple i'm hoping to decorate it .. not sure what i'm going to do with it yet, I have a few ideas!

Do you ever look back as your purchases and as much as you love them all still have a favour or 2??

Much Love & Happy Shopping!

Biggest Smile Ever....!! :D

I currently have the biggest smile ever!
While heading into town to do ma much hated food shopping I noticed in TKMaxx window that this years Red Nose Day is being support by Vivienne Westwood <3

I popped in to check it out and oh my wowness! The designs are so cute! There are 12 designs, checked them out at http://www.tkmaxx.com/page/tshirts .
I originally picked up the punky Head design tee, then on a poster saw this amazing one.. and at £14.99 I thought it's a designer bargain that cannot be missed!! ( Also as its for Red Nose Day £7 goes directly to the charity!)

How 'tongue in cheek' is it! Great use of the red noses hehe!
and a cute signature at the back

I found one of their lovely 'unhelpful' advisors who told me they didn't have anymore and carn't phone other stores or locate them... bah customer service!

Anyways in ma "MUST HAVE" mode I decided to skip the food shopping and head to the next TKMaxx (which luckily is about half a mile away)... I was working ma super fast pase on... you know that mad dash walking you do when the shops are due to close in an hour and you need an outfit to wear that night? We've all done it and personally i'm terrible for it hehe!

When I got there they only had 3 of this design left luckily one of which in my size! I cannot wait to wear it :) It's definately guna be one of ma cute tee's that I wear more dressed up rather than casual!

My food shopping will have to wait until tomorrow and tonight i'm guna end up having soup.. something which I have a never end stock of for some bizarre reason hehe! It's all worth it though!

*** Tagged!! ***

Hey All,
I got tagged in a questions post by Sam (http://corsetscraftsandcupcakes.blogspot.com/). As its a great way to get to know people and questions you wouldn't always ask I though i'd fill it in.

Here are the questions:

What did you want to be when growing up?

When I was little I always wanted to be a teacher, I used to get my Mum to make me some pretend class registers and line all my dolls up. For my birthday when I was 10 my Dad made me a massive white board and on the other side it was a black board that I lent against the wall, it was taller than me at the time. I thought it was the most amazing thing ever! I also got a classroom kit out of the Argos Catologue. It had school themed posters and some of those "Well Done" and "Super Star" stickers in. I only ever gave those to my favourite dolls though hehe!

What do you most like about where you live?

As I live in the city centre, i'm pretty close to lots of shops and Leeds is great for shopping. Theres lots of nice towns that are easy to get to from Leeds. Sometimes on my day off I will get a day rider and pop to a few places, mainly for the charity shops and little knic-knac stores that Leeds doesn't seem to have. Morley / Crossgates / Wakefield are a few of my favourites!

If you could only rescue three things from your house, what would they be?

* My memory box, its full of little things that remind me of great times such as cinema tickets, gig tickets, cards, badges... strange little trinkets that special friends have given me :)
* My sewing machine. Im not using it as much as i'd love to at the moment but would be totally gutted to not have it.
* My Laptop as it has all my pictures/ documents/ clothes designs on.

What is your favorite book?

I adore the Belle De Jour collection! Very sexy, cheeky and packed of fun tales!

What is your favorite room of your house?

As my apartment is a studio it is pretty much 1 room, and a small one at that hehe. I have a pretty ace bedroom area which is fill with clothes and shoes and a little area for my craft and sewing things. I love laying in bed and looking out my window in a morning, specially in summer. I have a great view of the city centre too!

What is your favorite joke?

Im terribly bad with jokes, usually find the lame Christmas cracker or jokes on the back of snack food the funniest!

What would you most like to change about your house?

I'd love more storage space. I'm making the most of what I have, lots of storage boxes of clothes under my bed & shoe racks in my hallway. A walk in wardrobe is definately on my "Must Have!" list.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I don't really believe in love at first sight, think its more of a 'spark' or 'feeling' at first meet. I know theres a spark when I wake up the next day and can't stop smiling and giggling to myself :)

As I don't have many followers yet I won't tag people but feel free to tag yourself, or if you have already filled this in link me to it :) I'd love to know more!

In a moment of crisis.. try something new...!

A month ago I ran out of the red hair colour I use and was having a mega panic when I found out that the website I purchase it from was going through some business type change over which meant they were unable to trade. As my hair colour had faded and my roots (im naturally dark
brown) were showing I knew I had to do something.

I didn't want to use a different brand or shade of red and thought it'd be an ideal time to try something totally different! :)

I picked to try blonde, its a colour I've always wanted to try but never braved before. As my hair was red I would have to bleach the colour out, incase it went a terrible orange/yellow colour I brought a blue hair dye as a back up.

After alot of bleaching, blue shampoo (it takes the yellow tinge outa freshly bleached hair) and a XXL Ice Blonde hair dye my hair went from this....

to this.....!!

I've had the blonde for about 3 weeks now and it looked better than I thought it would, its a kinda strawberry blonde and a few of my tips are a browny ginger. Don't think its quite me but definately glad I tried it :) a few of my friends said it was a little too 'Normal' for me.

Finally the website I order my red from is back to trading and I have put my order in, 3 bottle... don't want another crisis moment of running out hehe!

Here's a pic of when I bleach my roots, didn't keep it as an actual hair style, just thought it looked "flamey" when i was drying it, so took a pic. Oh the little things keep me happy :)
